My Story
After 20 years as an occupational therapist, the chance for me to pursue my love of writing beckoned. I pushed on a few doors of opportunity, and they opened – my stories were published, and I won an award. A journey of successful stepping stones landed me at a conference, where, in a moment of reflection on my emerging writerly identity, the epiphany descended: You are a quiet revolutionary.
Currently based just north of Brisbane, Australia, my life packages an amalgamation of experiences on different continents. I grew up and married in South Africa. Hubby and I adventured in the UK and Europe for several years, had a stint of blizzard and spring life in Boston, Massachusetts, and then decided to grow our roots and leaves in beautiful Queensland’s sunshine.
